QUIZ - What’s Your Polyamory Communication Style?

The 3rd Quiz in my Polyamory Blueprint series...

Communication is one of the biggest pieces of building healthy polyamorous relationships, but communicating well doesn’t mean everyone communicates the same way.
Some people want to talk about things directly and immediately. Some people need a conversation where they can ask questions, process out loud, and work through things together. Some people need time to think before they know what they actually feel or want to say. And some people adjust their communication style depending on the situation, the person, or the emotional stakes.
None of these approaches is automatically better than the others.
Your communication style may also be influenced by things like anxiety, neurodivergence, past relationship experiences, trauma, or simply your personality. For example, a neurodivergent person may prefer more time to process information before responding, but that doesn’t mean all neurodivergent people communicate reflectively. Someone with anxiety may prefer very direct communication because uncertainty makes them uncomfortable, but that doesn’t mean everyone who prefers direct communication is anxious.
This quiz isn’t diagnosing you. It’s helping you notice what communication approach tends to feel most natural and supportive for you.
Your communication style is just one piece of the bigger picture.
