You Knew EXACTLY What You Were Doing When You Led Me to Nowhere…
A raw letter to someone who pretended to want a real connection, then gaslit you when the mask started slipping. Your confusion was not the problem.
You KNEW you didn’t want what I wanted, but you pretended to.
You pretended to be evolved, like you were someone who had learned from your mistakes in relationships. You pretended to want a mature healed connection with clarity and consistency.
Instead, you purposely gaslit me when I noticed you were no longer providing what you promised.
Like a coward, you avoided conversations that would’ve healed our connection because your goal wasn’t to heal or maintain it; it was just to enjoy the access to me and all I had to offer for as long as possible with minimal effort, until I noticed.
You were always prepared for the end because you knew it was inevitable due to your hidden intentions of not desiring to put any consistent effort into the connection in first place.
So when I started noticing things falling apart, I scrambled to heal what I thought was a rupture between us, when in fact, it was just the truth coming to the surface; your mask falling, and the beginning of the destruction of a false structure you already knew was set crumble from the beginning.
