Why A Man Having Female Friends Is A Green Flag, Actually

I will die on this hill: women who don't "allow" their boyfriends to be close friends with other women are ruining their own relationships.

And if you're a woman who wants a boyfriend with zero female friends, here's a hard truth: if the only way your boyfriend can respect women is to completely avoid them because otherwise he would sexualise them and cheat, it means he has zero respect for women, including you.

Your man isn't "respectful" - he's literally incapable of forming respectful platonic connections with women because he can't see them as anything other than sexual objects. It means he believes women exist to be sexualised rather than seen as human beings. Your "rule" enforces that mindset, and that misogyny will eventually bite you in the ass.

Whenever a straight man tells me that he doesn't have female friends because he wants to "respect" his female partner, I think...if the only way to respect women is to completely avoid them, then it tells me you actually aren't able to respect them at all.

Stop playing yourself and date men who have close female friends, and thank me later.
