Polyamory Requires Compatibility, Not Just Chemistry

People seriously underestimate the amount of things that need to line up for a relationship to work. You may have chemistry, but no compatibility. Or you may look great on paper, but no sparks are flying. Or you may have chemistry AND compatibility, but it's not the right time because of other stuff going on. Assess carefully what you're signing up for!

Good partner selection is key to good polyamory. Don't get into a relationship just because you want to be in one (or more) and want to "prove" you're polyamorous or loveable or what have you - it's better to have one or no partners than multiple dysfunctional relationships that will just stress you out. Slow your roll and do some vetting before you sign up to a hot mess.
