Ep 464 - Kitty + Miles

Kitty and Miles share their beautiful journey from being high school sweethearts to eventually getting married and, more recently, opening their marriage after nearly 20 years. They reflect on the many ways they've grown and changed over the years, including Kitty's decades-long process of deconstructing and healing the shame, expectations, and dogma of her Southern Baptist upbringing while discovering what she truly wants for herself. 

Opening their relationship wasn’t easy, but through honest communication, patience, and a tremendous amount of work, they've continued to find their way together, growing closer while navigating new relationships, kids, careers, and life. Their story is a powerful example of what can happen when you keep showing up for each other, question the rules, and intentionally build the relationship you actually want.
