When You Play for Both Teams: Derek Kage

**Derek Kage** — muscle-bound, tattooed Southern gentleman with piercing grey eyes. Born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama; did undergrad and grad school, then spent about a decade in Washington DC working a steady government job with full benefits — and walked away because he wasn't happy.

He's now one of the most decorated performers in the industry in under four years: **3x XMAs Gay Performer of the Year**, GayVN Best Newcomer and Best Leading Actor (2024, for the Raging Stallion thriller *Overdrive*), Grabbys Performer of the Year, Pornhub's Favorite Daddy, and the Free Speech Coalition's Advocacy Award — 80+ nominations total. Hundreds of scenes and 20+ features across gay, trans, and straight studios: Brazzers, Adult Time, Men.com, Falcon, Kink.com, Dorcel, TransAngels, and more. ASN Magazine and GQ Africa both profiled him this year.

The hook for your episode: he identifies as gay, but he's crossed into straight scenes — a transition that's basically unheard of and exactly why you flagged his viral potential. He's also open about the business side: consent on set, testing, advocacy work.

His IG is [@wholesome_derek](https://www.instagram.com/wholesome_derek), TikTok @derek.kage, site derekkage.com. His publicist is Erika Icon at The Rub PR.
