Picking Partners in Polyamory

You can be polyamorous and picky with who you choose as a partner.

Having 1 partner or even 0 partners won't ruin your life... but choosing the wrong partner(s) to date might.

Polyamory doesn't mean you lack discernment or have low standards for partners! Partner choice is so, so key to a peaceful polyamorous life.

I choose people who are communicative and respectful, who are capable of grace and compassion towards not just me but also my other partners, and who take responsibility for their own shit.

Does it shrink my dating pool? Yes. But has the drama in my life decreased since I became more strict with who I invest my time and energy into? Also yes, and that makes it worth it to me.
