I don't think everyone is going to end up polyamorous/non-monogamous in the future, nor do I want it that way. I think we are moving towards a world where everyone is intentionally choosing what relationships we want to have and how they look, with the structure or number of partners being highly individual - and that is a very good thing!

I don’t know if this is a hot take or not, but I don’t actually think the world would be better if everyone was polyamorous. I think normalising polyamory is great, and I think more polyamorous people would be great, but I don’t think that everyone in the world should be polyamorous, just like I don’t think everyone in the world should be queer. I’m here to normalise diverse relationship structures, with the particular focus on polyamory as it is such an underrepresented relationship style, but I’m here for all of it. More choice, more freedom, more diversity – that can only be a good thing.
