Polyamorous Valentine's Day tip: at the end of the day, it is just a random date and a cute excuse to be extra affectionate. Focus less on when you're doing what with whom, and more on showing up for each of your relationships in ways that are meaningful and connective for you.

Personally, celebrating on the actual day has never mattered that much to me, but I know that the date holds value for some folks. The only boundaries I have when it comes to polyamory and Valentine’s is that I don’t want to split up a day with a metamour - I’d rather they get a whole day and I get another day if it means my partner has more than ample capacity to show up to our quality time with the energy I wish to bring to the connection as well. How are you celebrating (if at all) this year?
